MLB HOMEPLATE DIORAMA: JASON VARITEK AND UMPIRE

This Major League Baseball two-pack features Boston Red Sox catcher Jason Varitek plus an umpire and an interactive base. The set includes Red Sox captain Varitek in his set position after giving the sign and awaiting the pitch. The umpire is crouched behind him on the base ready to make the ball or strike call. The base itself is larger than normal, featuring a plate, the catcher area and room for the umpire to squat behind the catcher. The plate is removable and the base is engineered to allow any previously released McFarlane's Sports Picks batter and base to be plugged into the catcher base. Exclusive to the McFarlane Toys Collector's Club.

SAWeet piece to add to a collectors collection. I entered and won a lottery to purchase this from Spawn.com. You only allowed to purchase 2 per transaction. I got one for me and one for my brother. Most know i am a NY Yankee fan, but i had to get this Diorama. I'll add the pitcher and ofcourse Jason Giambi or Berni Williams from MLB Series 3 going yard on either Pedro Martinez, Curt Schilling and/or Roger Clemens. Yes its an opener.. i have some i dont open, but this puppy will be opened up and displayed.

Noles, how the heck can you win the ACC division and lose 2 straight there after. WTF hodgie! I hope i do better in my Fantasy Leagues.. so i can have something positive to post about football this week.

I did watch a friggin nail biter this weekend... Auburn vs. Georgia. that game was insane.

Philly Classic 6

Today i attended the Philly Classic in Ft. Washington, PA. Amazing to see the old skool games and go back to my roots as a gamer. Didnt buy anything as my McFarlane collecting and Xbox gaming takes up tooo much of my free time as it is. I'd definately be looking for a home if i had another console collection. :) hehehe..

This years event didn't have as many vendors as in the past. They had some arcade classics set up for peeps to play for free and a few of them dance pad stations. That is soo funny to watch people do. They also had the Guitar Hero, which looked awesome. I can rock the guitar at home... Thats whats up!!! I chatted with some of the guys from GameCrazy. They were on a Round Table discussion in which my fellow gamertag.com grew were a part of. (Cold Justice, KOW, and ram2600) I got there too late.. :D They hosted a Halo2 tourney. Some kid from my hometown in NJ won. New Jarooze representing...

You can see Pics i took at the event here. Later to come are a few video clips i need to edit... :)

All in all it was great to see my fellow XBLF/Gamertag hommies KOW, ram2600, Capt Crash and Cold Justice... (met Cold Justice for the first time).

Flyers vs Islanders..
Flyers win 3-2
OUTASTANDING!!!! was my first ever hockey game and it was insane. WT you werent kidding on the fun i'll have. I'm a fan now and will try to make it to a few more games. KOW likes the Flyers and i can try and hook up with him for a few games.

Gisel calls me and tells me her co-worker has tickets to the game do i wanna go. um, i never went to a hockey game. Kools, no probs i'm game. anything FREE rocks.. :)

We get there and there are alot of fans rockin Flyers gear. Hockey is back!!! nice.. Seats were decent. Sat in Section 106 row 17 seats 1-4. Great view! At start we were behind the Islanders goal. Live games are Waaay different then TV games. This stuff is fast paced, whew! One other thing i noticed was the many line changes that occur. You dont see that much on TV, but live they switch in and out quick fast and in a hurry with out missing a beat. Also unless it was too early in the year, Flyers fans were not as bad as Sixers or Iggles fans. I was like WOW, are we in Philly?

It was great to jump up and Roar and when the Flyers scored. #9 for the Flyers scored 2 goals was looking to see if my first game had a hattrick, but it didnt happen. I had a blast and look forward to going to another game, maybe when the Flyers play the Penquins... :D

Here are the Pics i took at the Game.

Sorry Capt Crash your boys lost!!!!

Chapter 34: Separation

November 7, 2005 I became officially separated/Honorably discharged from the military. Its Official as of yesterday. Turned in all my gear and signed off on my hand receipts leaving with out owe-ing nothing to my unit.. whew!

To my online/Xbox live communities: XNC, XBLF, Gamertag.com.. thank you for holding me down and supporting me while I was deployed. You all rock and are cherished dearly in my heart. God bless and see ya on the Live side... Buck B4 I duck.. The!

I had the pleasure of chilling with some of my troops and my LT (Wild Turkey) this past weekend. It was sad to see them and have to say goodbye to them again as I did when I left Iraq. (that sucks!) As much as Iraq sucked being away and the dangers we faced daily I miss the times I had with my troops and friends. I left there having a wonderfully connection with a few people that I wish started years ago. Esp for my military career, would've made me stay in longer probably and not get bored with my job prior to my deployment. They helped my grow a a soldier and as a person. One of my troops advanced to the next pay grade and I would love fall under his command and rock on! DA-z!!! Thank you for giving me that one opportunity in Ft. Drum to stand to your left. :)

To the Wild Turkey Crew; I'll never ever forget you guys (and gal- Wild Turkey herself). You need one strong female type to keep all that testosterone in check... :) Wild Turkey thank you for letting me be the best I can be. I know we had a rocky start and we together overcame that as we never lost faith in each others abilities and continued to make it happen and get the job done. enuff and(s) in there huh!!! hehe.... You all be safe, strive to be the best and I wish you well in life and in your military endeavors. If ever in my area doing military duty you have a place to crash. If ever want to come visit please do so, my house is open to you. Wild Turkey, DAz, Uncle Mac, Rollin Thunder, Trash Man, CJ, and Short Round wishing you all well. I know some of you may have to pound AssPhault again next year. Please keep in contact and let me know what I can do for you. I look forward to SR's wedding in Feb as it will be another re-union, and then to Wild Turkey's big re-union in the spring. You all have my number/email Please call me and or write. Ahh I alost forgot, a Wild Turkey honorary member Squirrel. He's currently in Iraq, be safe bro and take care of yourself.

So that chapter in my life is over. Not clear what my intentions of returning in the future are, but as of now NOT! even thinking about it. I am in the process of transferring my military time into my state job. SAWeet, adding 12 years to my 11 years with the state. Working out the logistics of the buy back option and amount owed. That run in the military was great. I loved what I did as a soldier. I got bored in the reserve system, but as I spoke to Wild Turkey over the weekend I loved the active duty part of it. Doing it everyday making an impact on people lives and getting to roCk it with fellow soldiers daily was AWESOME!!! I'll miss that. It is what it is.. SAW, Cocoa, Whiskey 30, Melencio is now a Civilian.

'Noles offense struggles in upset loss to Wolfpack

North Carolina State seems right at home in Seminole country. N.C. State's Chuck Amato, who spent 18 seasons as an assistant to Florida State coach Bobby Bowden, is the only Atlantic Coast Conference coach to beat the Seminoles on their home field.

The Seminoles (7-2, 5-2 ACC) looked anything like a title contender Saturday against the Wolfpack (4-4, 2-4), who have struggled all season.

Noles clinch the ACCs div title with the lost of BC to North Carolina, but they intern lose to NC State. That Blows.. With Miami knocking off VT yesterday we may be facing Miami again Dec 3rd for the ACC title. If Miami wins out and then beats the Noles its a posibility for them to jump up in the BCS towards the end of the season.

Noles got to step it up. Miami is going to bring it!!! this next game.

Weekend trip to Chuck E Cheese's
One of my Son's classmates was having a birthday at Chuck E Cheese's this past Saturday. He took one at first and then wanted to take one with me. I was making a good run at the hoop challenge getting 45+ points a round. The tickets were mounting up; as well as the line of kids waitng for me to finish off my 3 dollars in quarters to get thier turn. :D hehe.. All in all I had a great time. I love going to kiddie places cause there is a kid deep down inside me and comes gushing out when i attend events like this. So if your having a party and need an oversized kid to look aftert the other kiddies... Holla.. I'm there.

IN Fantasy Football News, i went 2-1 over the weekend. bring my record to .500 in 2 leagues and under in one. :( Step it up SAW!!! My Giants are the Beasts in the East... OUTSTANDING. Hopefully Washington can knock off the Iggles this weekend so we can stay on top. KOW i spoke to Plaxico and told him HEY, My hommie needs the Fantasy points man... get your grind on and score some TD's. Manning is my QB in one of my leagues and i told him to throw the rock to Plaxico ALL the time! hope that helps.

Last nite i was asked what i wanted for christmas. I replied nothing as to what i really want wont be available to me. ( i didnt put any on reserve ) and the games i really like wont be out till next spring. There is a new Line of McFarlane's coming out in November NFL 12 series, but i have 2 cases on pre-order to make some loot to get my Wolverine VS. Sabertooth 16-inch Diorama. Ahh, thats an idea... i can give her a link to EE. There is also the Cooperstown 3 series coming out that will have R. Clemente, Don Mattingly and Mickey Mantle. Those are for March of 06 tho. So i just said nothing. Nothing atm and my wife was mad. what do you mean, you have to get something. I was so spoiled with stuff when i got back from Iraq that honestly i'm good as far as gifts go. Who knows i'll think of something. But on another note... I need some help from some Pirates fans.. i got an offer from Wild Turkey to get some R. Clemente stuff cause they are headed to the Burg. I would love one of those old school Pirates hats to go with my throwback of Clemente that i have. That would def be insane. Wild Turkey imagine it were Jason Kendall(who may be coming out in MLB 15 or 16 and if you want another collectible of him let me know, it'll be in the A's uniform tho) and you wanted a to get soething of him. Wait stirke that, i remember how you spoke of him in Iraq and lord knows what you'd get and send me.

All be good and be safe.... KOW 1 more weekend till PC. Awesome.. Scary would rock if you could make it up. Look forward o seeing alot of XBLF's there.

Here is another pic of my Lil Man...

Cheo... thank god his momma looks good and he didnt take after me.

BOOOOO! Happy Halloween!

WOW, another fine weekend come and gone. GO GIANTS. Poor Iggles, its okay.. McNabb and TO got me the points i needed for my various Fantasy Leagues. Hopefully i do better this week then i have been. Currently record is 3-4.. Havent checked to see what i did this weekend yet. I do have a few other players tonite. LT didnt do crap for me again this week. :( Thats how my fantasy seasons allways turn ou tto be. I have strong players in the beginning of the season then they fall off(L. Tomlinson). Or i have an outstanding player that doesnt perform (P. Manning).
So the Giants stand alone at the top of the NFC East. Its great to see that after the horrible draft we had this past spring. Plaxico whome i had in previous FFL and was one of my bums before that never panned out to be gOOd, is kickin tail making clutch catches for us here in NY. OUTSTANDING!!!

I havent posted any pics of my deployment recently. I have so many i want to share. Been so tied up with my collecting and the recent new games (Xbox) tht came out. I'm going to do some interviews with some of my troops. DA-z a kick ass runner ran a marathon recently. That rocks. I told him i'd come out and run it with him next year. Whew, my feet are going to suffer. While i Iraq the base we were at had a loop of 12 miles. DA-Z used to run it weekly. He actually wona company challenge and gto a trip Qatar for the fastest time in his age group. lmao.. he was the only on in it. :D, hehe j/k! Thier were equite a few over 40.

Well i got to run and do some work before i leave early today for Lil SAWs Halloween Parade at school. Squirrel be safe. Wild Turkey(s) be good and look forward to our next re-union. Have a safe and Happy Halloween.

eM - OUT!

Todd to attend NFL experience in Detroit

Barry Sanders Figures Debuts at Topps Card Show in Detroit as Super Bowl XL Exclusive

McFarlane Toys and Todd McFarlane himself will attend the Topps Card Show 2006 at the NFL Experience in Detroit, Mich. McFarlane Toys will be present throughout the event, which kicks off Wednesday, Feb. 1 and runs until Sunday, Feb. 5th. Todd's schedule has not yet been finalized. The event will be held at COBO Hall in Detroit. Hours for the show have not been set as of press release date.

The award-winning action figure company will be selling the exclusive McFarlane's Sports Picks figure, which has become a major draw for fans at events around the country. Since debuting at the 2003 Topps Super Bowl Show in San Diego, McFarlane's exclusives have been tremendously popular at every sporting event attended. This year's McFarlane's Sports Picks event exclusive is:

BARRY SANDERS, Detroit Lions, RB No. 20 in white jersey with silver pants.

Production is limited to 3,000 pieces. Additionally, due to the highly collectible nature of the product, McFarlane Toys will set a per-person limit, which has yet to be decided. Product availability is not guaranteed. The exclusives will be sold for $15 each. Cash and Visa are the only payment options at the show.

2005 marked the first year McFarlane Toys dove into the retired pool of players in the NFL, selecting Barry Sanders as the first Legends figure to be offered as an event exclusive.
"Barry is one of the greatest players to ever lace up a pair of football cleats," says McFarlane Toys CEO and founder Todd McFarlane. "Fans of the Lions and fans of football have an admiration for Barry, a player who carried himself with as much class on the field as he did off the field."

Here are more Pics of the sculp for this release:
>> SUPER BOWL XL: BARRY SANDERS I

I just order'd his Thanksgiving throwback variant from Toys R Us, (thats what they had listed, its probably the regular release - if it is; It's getting sent back). His reg version is around everywhere. If i can get a hold of this exclusive to add to my collection would be INSANE!! I know i'm not attending the superbowl, so i can expect to see these puppies on eBay for $35-50 soon after the event. There are quite a few other pieces i'd love to have before shooting for this. Altho i do have a few that i could probs trade to get this exclusive.
New Schedule for Upcoming Releases, First Half of 2006

The first half of 2006 will see the release of a massive variety of new McFarlane product. Fans of each of our lines will have an abundance of choices. Here's a six-month calendar of what's on tap. (Release dates are subject to change without notice.)

Check here for full release, i'll just touch the Sports Picks and Military series. The ones marked with * are keepers for me that will be added to my collection. I may turn this hobby into a business in my near future. Jay(JFrag) if you reading sometime in my near future i'll be hitting you up for a consult for a web site. Hitcatcher.com Its a fun hobby and amazing what a Collectible item like Tom Brady's no Helmet varaint that came out goes for $300+ on eBay. WOW. Glad i'm not a Patriots fan.

I finally uploaded the pictures. Added them to my flikr account, but couldnt get that hmtl tag thingie to post them here so this is the Link to the page. Washington won W 52 - 17. WOW, was a long ride home for my brother who is a Niners fan. I remember long flights home from Florida when C. Portis and Miami used to spank the Noles, year after year. Was great to see him and his family again and hang out at a Live NFL game. I'm supposed to go to the Giants game, but Clinton seems to go off in games i attend, hehe. I can get a chance to see some Giants and get my McFarlane's signed. That would roCk! f0-sh0!

Hopefully i can get more decent pics and post them here next week.

        Charles Woodson #2 Michigan University

The Maze and Blue. GO BLUE!

Charles Woodson, Michigan Defensive Back, Kick Returner, Wide Receiver 1995-1997, Heisman Trophy Winner 1997.

1997: Even with everyone knowing all about him and hardly ever throwing his way, Woodson still picked off eight passes including a brilliant one handed grab against Michigan State which made every highlight reel. Want clutch? Along with the game-saving pick against Ohio State, he killed a drive in the Rose Bowl intercepting Ryan Leaf in the end zone. While QB Brian Griese had a magnificent season and the defense was great as a whole, without Woodson the Wolverines wouldn't have won the national title

This is a custom figure i orderd for my brother from drjwtexas for Christmas. This is based off his interception against Michigan St. It's not the McFarlane's he used to collecting, but i'm sure he move pieces off his collectors shelf for this piece. After the holiday season i'll be getting a Deion Sanders Florida State custom.
        Sunday, Digital Life in NYC.

Grabbed MP3 player, jacket and keys off to NYC i go.

After a train ride i make it to the convention center... it was great to see ram again and to meet more XBLF's PEZ and Capt Crash and PEZ's nintendog ( didnt poop or pee not one time while inside and was well behaved around others).
that pic you took cAPT- OUTSTANDING!!!! hehe... good times. see it here.

HP area had some kickazs big screens. Had me hooked there for a lil bit. i have 2 (not HPs) but the giants were playing the cowgirls. Gadgets - Friends and football SAWeet! yeah i know Giants lost. :p

X360 demos rocked. wish there was a playable X360 tho. they would have to had atleast a gazillion of them for me to get a shot. There were like 1 gazillion people chillin on the couches watching the demo's.

XM had a booth and i was able to check out docking stations they are coming out with for the xm2go.. nice gift for the wifey.

        Gametap.com was kool.. kool classics.

2kgames had a booth and i was able to get the soundtrack for NBA2k. Mostly hip hop, and if interested i can rip it and pass i t along to whom ever wants it. and got a kool sticker that lil SAW claimed and stuck to his note book.

        CD featured:
        Redman
        The Roots
        Common
        Ghostface
        Little Brother
        lackalicious
        Aceyalone
        Lyrics Born
        Hieroglyphics
        RJD2
        Aesop Rock
        Skills
        Jean Grae & Zion1

There were alot of PC gaming tourneys... SAW cant do PC games, but it was funny... ( ahh hahaha.. funny ) to watch the turds get mad at each other while gaming. One thing i pickd up on was that all the teams were pretty much seperated, but they yelled out commands so the other team could here. Why not have whom ever was in charge just stand behind everyone and be the boss and be able to look at everyones screens and have a better sense of command and control of troops. See PEZ like i talked about military games at digi lyf and taking it too far.. hehe.. Just wish whom ever makes Military shooters would take EAs moto.. If its in the game Its in the game. I look forward to America's Army.

iPOD gadgets were every where. got a kool lanyard from one stand.

All in all was a fun trip and most of all meeting XBLFs was a great plus. you all rock and look forward to the next event we can all get together. Philly Classic is coming up.

        This weekend in Sports:

Blah!!! Last week my Yankees were sent home packing in the MLB playoffs, and yesterday Florida State suffer'd thier first lost. It had to be another ACC team as well, knocking them to #2 in the ACC, crap! not sure how since BC is #1 and we beat them.

Seminoles lost to Virgina University 26-21. Last time they took a loss (after having an undefeated start 5-0) like that was to Virginia back in 1995. Back then someone i root for now and just got his McFarlane Sports Pick Figure ran all over FSU. Tiki Barber. I had that feeling when i watched a few other undefeated's take losses earlier that day as well as the teams all my friends like were getting romped. Welp my Bro's college team did well as they knocked off Penn State, Michigan. ahh that reminds me, i got to call that guy making my custom collectible of Charles Woodson for my brothers Christmas gift. back on topic, the Noles are 5-1 now. :(

Giants Fall to Cowboys in OT, 16-13 After a late fourth-quarter rally that tied the game, the Giants fell to the Cowboys, 16-13, in overtime. TE Jeremy Shockey (24yd rec) and K Jay Feely (50,445yd FGs) scored for the Giants.

Didn't watch too much of the game tho. As i got on the train in NY coming back from Digitalife (i'll blog about in a few)the train dood anounced the Giants lost in Overtime 16-13. Which leads to my Fantasy team not getting to many points as i had Eli in and i think he threw that 1 solo TD. Doesnt look good in points. Now were 3-2 and now 0-1 in our division. :( It wont be till another 2 weeks before we can get a win in our div as we play Denver next week, then Washington. I'll be at that game if all works out well. Giants v Washington 30th Oct in the meadowlands. SAWeet!

Hope everyone's weekend went well and it was a good and safe one. Wild Turkeys i miss you all and holla at me when you get a chance. (oOoo get one of these today??) Squirrel havent heard from you man, call me or write and let me know how you are doing. I know Iraq sucks and you'll be home in a few months.

        Frustrated Collector...

        LAWRENCE TAYLOR

He was released as part of NFL Legends series 1 along with:
        • BARRY SANDERS
        • JOHN ELWAY
        • JOHNNY UNITAS
        • FRANCO HARRIS
        • TROY AIKMAN

I ordered it back in August from Toys R Us, knowing it wouldn't be released till now in October. In my weekly hunts checking for other collectibles at Toys R Us and Kay Bee Toys I noticed that the NFL Legends series has been released. I was like kool, noiw I can get my LT. So I go tback online to check the status of my order and I see that i have the LT with the White jersy(a variant) which triples the price upon me getting it. w0000-hoooo, but I also see in red No longer available!... Hold up! wtf! i didnt even get mine yet and its not even shipped either. Every where i have check'd there after i have not seen the LT collectible in this series. All the ones i can careless to have i find in the 3 surrounding Toys R Us's in my area.

I went online last nite to check a few other sites i know carry the collectibles and notice that they want $50 dollars for the regular blue jersey one or they are SOLD OUT!! My plea to my readers if you happen to come across this, if you have started ( Christmas shopping ) like i have; come across a LT in the your area Toys R Us or KayBee Toys and pick it up for me i'll trade (if a XBLF or XNC or GTDB member or Xbox Live in gerneral) a Xbox 360 game of choice for it. Anybody else i'll figure something out after confirmation you found it. Now i can get it on eBay at a stupid high price, I'll resort to the Toy stores first. Then after Christmass if i'm really desperate for it, i 'll go the eBay route.

I'm going to NYC this weekend, maybe i can get PEZinvaders to take me to a Toys R Us in the city. Stay tuned, later today i'm doing another flash back friday picture from Iraq. Thanks in Advance for anyone who'll happen to help a Gunner out!
        Mariano Rivera

Mariano Rivera wins 2005 "DHL Presents the Major League Baseball Delivery Man of the Year Award"

        from MLB.com
Award recognizes the most outstanding relief pitcher of the season Mariano Rivera of the New York Yankees has been named the inaugural recipient of the "DHL Presents the Major League Baseball Delivery Man of the Year Award" as the result of fan balloting on MLB.com, it was announced today. Throughout the voting process, Major League Baseball fans cast nearly 125,000 votes for the award on the official Web site of Major League Baseball.

This season, Rivera, who received 39,964 votes, accounting for 33 percent of the overall vote, helped the Yankees win their eighth consecutive AL East division title by saving 43 games in 47 opportunities. He finished with a 1.38 ERA, striking out 80 batters over 78.1 innings pitched while only allowing 50 hits. After he blew his second save of the season in early April, the right-hander went on to convert 31 consecutive save opportunities from April 9 through August 11. His 43 saves tied him for fourth overall in the Majors for the season.

Rivera's 379 saves are the most ever in the American League and puts him fifth on the all-time list. A member of four World Series champion teams with the Yankees, the 1999 World Series MVP has recorded 33 saves in October which is the highest in postseason history. The seven-time All-Star has led the AL in saves in three different seasons including 1999, 2001 and 2004.
In recognition of this honor, DHL will donate $5,000 to a local chapter of Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the official charity of Major League Baseball, in Mariano Rivera's name. In addition, Rivera will be recognized in a special advertisement appearing tomorrow, October 14, in USA Today.

To create the ballot, an initial list of 15 relievers that had outstanding seasons was compiled by the editorial board of MLB.com. The 10 finalists were chosen from this list of nominees by a special Major League Baseball "yellow-ribbon" panel that consists of Hall of Fame pitcher Dennis Eckersley; Darryl Hamilton, former Major League outfielder and MLB Radio Host; Jerome Holtzman, the official MLB Historian and a member of the writer's wing of the Hall of Fame; Rick Sutcliffe, 1984 NL Cy Young Award winner, ESPN and MLB International broadcaster; and Bob Watson, Vice President, On-Field Operations, Major League Baseball.

Throughout the 2005 season, this "yellow-ribbon" panel selected the relief pitcher who gave each month's most dominant performance for his respective Major League Baseball Club. The 2005 winners of the "DHL Presents the Major League Baseball Delivery Man of the Month Award" include Jose Mesa (April), Trevor Hoffman (May), Chad Cordero (June), Brad Lidge (July), Todd Jones (August) and Ryan Dempster (September).

To further engage fans in the selection process, DHL introduced an online sweepstakes in conjunction with the "DHL Presents the Major League Baseball Delivery Man of the Year Award." As part of the program, DHL will award one lucky fan with a trip for two to game four of the 2005 World Series.

Got an email from my friend CJ...

        To My Friend, Mel

Today is the international day for the mentally disabled. I thought i'd send an encouraging message to mamentally retarded friend-Coco. Just thought I'd let your retarded ass know I don't mind being friends with you. I don't care if you lick windows (Sand was everywhere i couldnt see) or even if you wear a football helmet to work (I had to wear that Kevlar backwards.. sometimes.., right wild turkey!). It doesn't bother me that you wear your underwear on the outside of your pants (power was out and i couldnt see in the dark, they were clean tho!). All I ask is that when we go to the club, you drive so we can park up front (we be clubbin). You hang in there because you are doing great! You are special, so keep trying! Have a great day!

        Your friend Always, CJ

You rock CJ, miss you hommie... Water Head

        My former boss.... WOW!!

Donald Rumsfeld is giving the president his daily briefing. He concludes by saying: "Yesterday, 3 Brazilian soldiers were killed in an accident."

"OH NO!" the President exclaims. "That's terrible!"

His staff sits stunned at this display of emotion, nervously watching as the President sits, head in hands.

Finally, the President looks up and asks..........''How many is a Brazillion?"

        Sabado en Grande...

Today sucked as it rained all day long. I did some in house maintenance that was much needed. WOW, just watched a trailer for Jarhead starring Jamie Fox. It had Kanye West's "Jesus Walks" sog playing in the backround. Man it got me all teary eyed and gave me a warm and fuzzy. I miss what i did as a soldier. As much as i love being home with my family and out of harms way i feel empty not being in the thick of it with my troops. I get like that cause for them i'll lay it on the line, take that ound if i had to for any of them. I recently got out and i know in thier near future some will be assphault pounding in Iraq again and i'll be here, not sleeping a wink till they get back. IT sux Ass.

That threw me off topic fo-real. K, back on track.. FSU rocked the house today beating Wake Forest. Ah yeah, back to the heavy rain. Welp my basement floods a bit and i had to take the shop vack to lake Melencio in my basement. I was down there all day cleaning up my military crap i just threw all over the place when i got back and organizing my Mc Farlane collection. Whew i have alot of them.

Recent additions are Mike Musina (yankees version) , Randy Johnson (yankees version), Ivan Rodriguez (rangers version), and a bonus i cant reveal at the moment. Flash Back Friday

All is good, its friday and i'm OFF from work. Have 4 day weekend. Thank you Cheo! my lil man is off from school and no baby sitter left me home watching him. OUTSTANDING!!! Not complaining not one bit. This week in TV shows was decent. Watched "Surface" and "Commander and Chief". "Surface" again left me awaiting next weeks episode and waiting to get a full view of the crazy monster. Still frustrating as they are draggin along this mysterious monster from the deep. "Commander and Cheif " was wifey time and i really wasnt paying attention to it. I know she's trying to find a Vice President, and she speakes like a good stiff one gave her lock jaw. She rocked as Charlie Baltimore tho. Ohh i did watch "Over There", for a hot second. Can go thru complaining about the crap they do that really cant happen so i cant stomach it to past the first few scene's. Wild Turkey I missed "Alias", so u cant spoil it for me. No TiVo so i'm going to have to down load that episode soemehow... aarrgghh! I had a fanancial advisor over and he was longer than anticipated.

Flash back friday brings me to post this picture taken by Short Round on the outskirts of An Najaf. It was our first run on this mission last november the day before Thanksgiving. We just got back off R&R, didnt get a chance to unpack or get back into the routine of being back in country, when we got a knock on our doors to head back out. I knew we had a mission on Thanksgiving, they just moved it up 24hours. We had 2 hours to get together this convoy which usually takes about 10hrs of preperation. We were out the gate in 2 hours from the time we got the call. OUTSTANDING!!!! Wild Turkey Infatranz once again sets the standard. It was great to get out of Al Taquddum to some fine Thanksgiving dinner down a Cedar II. Only drawback to this whole mission i got sick. Wonder who the culprit was....

The weekend i s here and once again FOOTBALL!!!

        Fantasy Leagues:
XBLF - EA Sports (Wild Turkey Infatranz) 3-1
        SJFL - ESPN (SAWDAWGz) 2-2
Gameday Ritual (Wild Turkey Infatranz) 3-1

        College:
Florida St. 4-0 @ Wake Forest 12 noon

        Pro:

        Splinter Cell 4

At Microsoft's X05 event in Amsterdam today, Ubisoft showed off the debut trailer for Splinter Cell 4, the next entry in the company's renowned stealth franchise. Though brief with only a limited look at what the adventure has in store, the trailer was a welcome return to the series that showed some nice special effects interspersed with what looked like actual gameplay.
In the trailer, what appears to be a classic "spies versus mercenaries" multiplayer battle starts off with a spy tip-toeing on a beam high up in a warehouse. His mask comes off -- revealing his face, something that's never been shown for the multiplayer characters in past games -- and then the trailer kicks into gear as a drop of sweat falls down the side of his face and then onto the ground below. It's all shown in insane detail, but up-close shots of the characters make it seem realistic enough to be running on in-game assets.

Once the sweat drop falls to the ground, the camera shifts to what appears to be a mercenary patrolling the ground level. He is wearing a shiny visor, revealing a new look for the character that seems to be futuristic. He walks around for a short while before a spy creeps up from him and attacks from behind.

We are noting many caveats in our sentences, however, because while the trailer confirms that the game will feature both on and offline play, it does not say that the scene it shows is from the traditional spies versus mercenaries multiplayer scenario. It looks like it and sounds like it, but the trailer ends with the tagline, "You have no idea what's coming," so we will have to refrain from speculating too much.

The game will ship in spring 2006 for both consoles and PC. Check back soon to see the trailer in action.

Yesterday was Whisky 40's birthday... he's 4zer0 AWESOME.. hope you had a good one.

        EA 360 Screens Bonanza

Yeah, they knew what team to shoot, GIANTS!!

With only two precious, delicious days separating us from Microsoft's highly anticipated X05 event, Electronic Arts has already jumped the gun and unleashed a bevy of screen shots from their Xbox 360 lineup and confirmed which games will be competing for your dollars come November 22.

Oh, glorious next-generation, how I love thee.

Get your mouse clickin' on with the links below to check out the screen shots, and wait for our hands-on impressions of all of these games as soon as X05 kicks off in a few days.

        Madden NFL 06
        NBA Live 06
        Battlefield: Modern Combat
        Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06

Though games like Madden NFL 2006 and NBA Live 2006 are shaping up considerably better than previous showings of the games have indicated, we can't help but feel Battlefield: Modern Combat looks considerably "this generation" from the initial batch of screen shots.

Considering no release date has been set in stone just yet, though, there's plenty of hope we'll see a visual turnaround before its expected holiday release.

        Dem Giants.. 3-1 so far

Final: Giants 44, Rams 24QB Eli Manning threw 4 touchdown passes as the Giants beat the Rams, 44-24, in the fourth quarter. Jeremy Shockey (31yd rec), Plaxico Burress (31,17yd rec), Amani Toomer (1yd rec), Tiki Barber (16yd run) and Jay Feely (38,32,23yd FGs) all scored for the Giants, who improved their record to 3-1.

        OUTSTANDING!!!!!

I picked Eli up last minute in my ESPN.COM league cause Roethlisberger had a *bye* and Warner was put on IR. I took a gamble and stuck with my Giants. WhoA, Eli came thru today in a big way. We had a shitty draft and as i sat in Iraq thinking how bad my team was going to stink up the NFC east here we are kickin ace! Plaxico of all people came thru huge. I had him on my FF teams for 2 years and he blew goats costing losses from his inadequate play. When we picked him up from Pitts, i was like, man that blows. All i can say is.. Thanks to Pittsburgh! you rOcK!!! So far anm rocking in my Fantasy Football leauges will post tuesday final scores if interested.

Yankees, won the Division even tho we got whooped bad today.

Florida State Rolls Over Syracuse 38-14
Drew Weatherford passed for 234 yards and three touchdowns, including a 71-yard swing pass to Lorenzo Booker, and No. 6 Florida State defeated Syracuse 38-14 Saturday. Weatherford, a redshirt freshman making his fourth collegiate start, also scored a touchdown as the Seminoles rolled up a 24-0 lead. Florida State (4-0), which had nine sacks in its opener against Miami, got Syracuse quarterback Perry Patterson seven times. With the temperature approaching 90 on a humid afternoon, Syracuse (1-3) was virtually helpless on offense through most of the game, managing only 57 yards and two first downs by halftime. more

        Yanks punch playoff ticket.

Facts machine: How the East was won
The Yankees' 8-4 win over the Red Sox on Sunday clinched the AL East title with one game remaining, despite the fact that the Red Sox and Yankees could finish the season with 95-67 records. But why? One word ... "Indians."

        Yankees win the title

Saturday's win gave the Yankees a 10-8 edge in the head-to-head matchup, which is the first tiebreaker if the Red Sox were to win on Sunday. Since New York would finish with a 10-9 record against Boston in that scenario, both teams would have identical records with the Yankees winning on the first tiebreaker. But more importantly, the Indians' loss prevented a potential three-way tie between New York, Boston and Cleveland, which would have set up a pair of one-game playoffs to decide the AL East and Wild Card winners.

        What about the Red Sox?

Obviously, the Red Sox are out of the East race, but the Wild Card is still there for the taking. Cleveland's loss on Saturday afternoon left the Red Sox one game ahead of the Indians in the AL Wild Card chase, so a Red Sox win or an Indians loss on Sunday would get Boston into the postseason. However, a Red Sox loss coupled with an Indians win would cause a tie atop the Wild Card standings and result in a one-game playoff on Monday. The winner of that game would be the Wild Card winner.

Yankees continue thier Div winning streak to 8, OUTSTANDING!! i stopped by and grabbed an extended Series 13 of Randy Johnson 3 ed. SAWeeet.

Lets Go INDIANS!!!! Thanks Scary Aaron, and now i root-A-toot for you team to win and we'll Knock off the BOTOX again guaranteeing your entrance to the post season, but we'll then have to pounce on ya. :)

        eM249ine Design

I have been doing grafix for a number of years non-commercially. Application i was using was Adobe Photoshop 7. While in Iraq i did a few designs on my down time. This was to be a signature for a forum i frequent but never published. It was fun to design and get my mind off the deployment. I'll share a few with you.

        M249 SAW
Description and Specifications A lightweight, gas-operated, one-man-portable automatic weapon capable of delivering a large volume of effective fire at ranges up to 800 meters. Two M249s are issued per infantry squad. It is scheduled to replace the M60 7.62 medium machine gun in certain units.

        • Caliber: 5.56 mm
        • Weight: 16.5 lbs
        • Max effective range: 1000 m (area target) 600 m (point target)
        • Rate of fire: 750 rounds per minute

While learning how to do face plates for media apps WinAmp, i created this one. Was fun after i got the hang of layers and manipulating shapes with bevels and styles. The final product came out decent. Wish i had a picture of the full version. I could re-create th whole thing in a few hours. Sux losing a whole batch of .psd files.

FTL - Fuck This Life. This is how i felt about Iraq when i first got there. I hated the heat and thought there was No way could survive 1 year in that hell hole. This was a rip i took of a wallpaper. I did 3-4 different styles of giving you the finger, hehe... It was easy, took me about 10 minutes to do. I used it as a Sig at X-N-C for a while. Later in my deployment it was our way of saying hi and or non verbal communication. I got plenty of these while Assphualt Pounding in Iraq. Hey you get one of These? Now we dont see each other face to face, so i'll post here for my fellow Wild Turkeys to see as they check out my blog. I got the original file and will create awhole page soley with this topic for you all to visit. But in email i send my ascii code of it oOoo.

Whisky Turds i made a few more designs for shirts. I'm going to need your sizes again so i can have one sent to each of you. Wild Turkey these are on me. Stay tuned for a few more pieces to be posted. eM~OUT!

        Alias Season 5

Starts tonite @ 8pm on ABC. OUTSTANDING! Looking forward to seeing Sydney Bristow. I missed Season 4, due to Assphault Pounding in Iraq. Hopefully CJ, WT, DA-z watch it and send me feedback on the show. I'll def send my thoughts of it to you in the AM. I'm getting season 4 and look to copy and send out to you all upon me getting mine. Wish we could've watched while at drum, but Munyeka alterd those plans. Bacm to mis Bristow, she's all ears and with that DeTard, but there's Something about women and being HOT and saviors of man-kind AWESOME! i'm about it and to name a few others... Jessica Alba(Dark Angel), Charliz Theron(AeonFlux) .. Linnea Hand(Wild Turkey Infatranz), Angelina Jolie(Lara Croft, Tomb Raider), Jennifer Gardner(Sydney Bristow, Alias), and Joanna Dark(Perfect Dark).. give me that warm and fuzzy...

Quick question if you follow Alias who is your favorite Character? Sydney's character keeps me focused, but Jack Bristow IMO is the best character in the show. He is no joke and at all cost does what ever it takes ot protect Sydney. Some of his tactics, he does with out question or regard to authority. He's just as mean as the villians in the show. He is the ShiZz! Read more about him here: Jack Bristow [Victor Garber]

Ahh, before i leave off, want to shout out my Yankees. Have a few Boston, Pittsburgh, Phillies, and Indians fans that cruise thru, Dont Hate and good luck in route to the Post Season and Life after. Luckily the Xbox360 comes out next month and you'll be distracted form the MLB series playoffs. f0-sh0!!!! 1 more nite @ Orioles, then to the Bronx for the BOTOX. Like scary mentioned some one will leave Black and Blue, will it be YOU!

        Technical Writing.

WOW, i'm diggin deep here. I got to unravel some hidden skill. I really liked this class while in school and almost persued it as a full time job. In Information Systems from time to time i have to write instructions for fellow staff and for the ID10T users on my network. This flux capacitor is connected to that do-hicky looped with that thing-a-ma-jiggy. Then take the 3 widgets and chuck them cause they are left overs, and you'll probably need them later, but i'll forget to add them in this document. Please call Help Desk if you have any questions and leave a message at the beep. ------BEEP!
Its awesome to write them out and add pictures of exactly what they'll look like or what the user will see upon starting them and they'll still call cause they are lost.

I didnt have anythig to stressfull to do at work this week. Nothing really mind boggling. Just some crazy issues with USB ports and WinXP. Dell Dell, Dell.... If i could get paid for tweaks and fixes i've done i could retire from this job where i dont do anything to begin with.

Hey no one attempted my puzzle a few posts ago, here is the next line:

        312211

follow the pattern yet? its easy.

Whew one more day. Firday i'm not in the office; on the road. I can sleep in and i get off early... woo-hoo! Happy hour here i come. Drinks on ME, Literally on ME!! ;p

        Whew! Tuesday morn.
This past weekend went well. Celebrated my lil mans Birthday (9yrs old) at this place called the FunPlex. Not only can the kiddies have fun, Adults can have fun to the UTMOST! Wish i had my camera.. :( its on its way back from Florida with my aunt. The 3 major rides/events we did were Go Karts, Lazer Tag and Foam Frenzy. All were fun. My son like Lazer tag the most. I took a whirl at the batting cages. Felt the pain sunday morning taking all them swings.
Also on saturday i went to see my my brother who was in iraq around the same time i was. He's not really my brother, but we grew up together as military brats. We later joined the army and contiued where our dads left off. He's a combat medic and 2 weeks after i came home from Iraq he suffer'd a rocket attack on his APC (Amored Personnel Carrier) while trying to rescue some injured soldiers. He was the sole survivor of the 7 troops on board. He sustained some serious injuries, but pulled thru it and is doing well. He came back to NJ to visit. His sster threw a BBQ for him; all our friends from back in the day stopped by to see how he was doing and to say hello. Was great to see him rockin and his old self. Altho he lost a limb it isnt keeping him down. Keep rockin LeRoy, love you man and wish you the best.

        Shows This week

        * Surface - 8pm mondays - started slow and almost lost my attention as they are draggin thier feet with this monster. During the show there is a baby one running around i got to get a decent look at. Was a mystery like the Lochness Monster, till the end. WHOLY CRAP! that mofo is huge and no joke. It ate a whole boat. It could've swallowed a battleship. Previews for next week look good and cant wait for the next episode.

        * MNF - 9pm mondays - KC @ Denver. Denver took to them.

        * CSI Miami - 10pm mondays - only CSI i really like, but didnt watch due to MNF and my Demo disc that came in my November OXM (Official Xbox Mag) ; sorry mami i know we watch this one together i didnt come thru yesterday.. te amo!

        * ALIAS - 8pm Thursdays - new time from last year. This will be the first episode of season. The trailers show SydneyBristow now has a baby.. Quit Playing! i missed last years season 4 due to my deployment to Iraq and the DVD hasnt come out. Its not fair, i need to see season 4 before 5. I'm going to be lost. Anyone TiVo it last year willing to send it to me i'd appreciate it. While in Iraq i was able to get a few of my platoon hooked on this show. Are you all going to watch this season? CJ, WT, DA-z??

        * College Football - Thursday 7:30pm - no clue who's playing. Probs someone form the WHACK-10.

        * Threshold - Friday 9pm - Show is getting better. Again, it reminds me of Species where they get all these scientist together to track/solve this alian problem. No review of last episode as there was too much beer over the weekend and its tuesday morn and i'm halfway thru my coffee. more later if i can rememeber. plus it kills my gaming nite on Live, but since its the weekend i can game all nite. See ya on Live!

        * Inconceivable - Friday 10pm - right after Threshold. Cant get pregnant, see a specialist. Think Nip/Tuck with sperm instead of scalpels, or Six Feet Under with cribs instead of coffins. Thats what its about. Its pretty good as this clinic has a new alternative method. The chic from ER is in this show, Rachel Lu who played Ming Na. The first episode was good as there was serogate(sp?) mother that didnt disclose she had sex after the artificial insemination(sp?) to many big words this early in the am, hehehe... so when it came to delivery she had a bouncing baby boy. The couple was white whom she was carrying for, and the baby born was black! WOW! and there is a priest and his wife trying to have a child, but there isnt anything they can do atm. Welp the one doctor is messing with a receptionist. More like a eff buddy and she knows the situation with the couple. She wants to get her groove on with the docotor, but he doesnt want to rock her boots anymore. She wants one for the road and he agrees to a helmet polish. She pulls a cup out of her purse when he aint paying attention to get a sample of Monica Lewinski style for later use. eeew! At close of the show she swaps the sperm for the Priest's stuff that aint good. Someone sees her do it from another room. She doesnt know she was has been seen. In next weeks epsisode they let her knw that she was seen. I think it was the doctor. Ah, in this episode there was a moarine who's wife was sent to Iraq qnad died. Before she left she had some of her eggs frozen so he can have them fertilized and have a child even tho she wasnt around any longer. His wife's sister was to be the serrogate mother for him. It didnt happen, and eggs were destroyed. i lost forcus on that part as i was doing something and wasnt tracking that issue. Thats about it. Next week the father of the mishap delivery comes back for revenge. ahh i almost forgot, the mother didnt want the child as she had one already and times were rough, but the natural father came to get him. Yeah boy! DADs stepping up!

        * College Football - Saturday - ALL DAY - GO NOLES

        Out the Gate Smoke!
        Camel Meat anyone?

For Jenni. Here are some pictures of Camels in Iraq and Kuwait. I almost broad sided one on a mission. Brought my 5ton tractor to a screeching hault as it crossed the road in front of me. I also remember the day we were heading north into Iraq from Kuwait we came across this delirious camel that almost broad sided one of our tankers. This crazy asz camel was running all over the place in 100+ heat. I was like if he cant handle this weather its going to be one long year for me. Here are a few more for you Jenni.
The very few day missions we ran we were able to get these pics. Altho at nite you see this mass of hunk of camel on the side of the road while doing 65+ mph you pray he wont cross as you come upon him. In my archive i have a picture of a camel toe, :) haha... got to find it tho.

Wholy Fuck! that is my common saying besides AWESOME! wholy fuCk is much suited as i'm done week 2 of coming back to work. This will be the last update of my return to work. it'll start to get boring. My contirbution to my work week and my div was this line of code:

        Expr1: "w" & Format(DatePart("ww",[Date]),"00")

Amazing huh! Besides the usual Hell Desk calls and random trips around the floor and getting stopped and asked ID10T error questions that line of code made 1 dept in my Divions month. The director wanted me to re-do this report frm a monthly crosstab, to a weekly crosstab. We have since i was gone my Director brought on board all these consultants to do all these conversions from SQL foxpro/access and god knows what other DBIII design to .Net apps. I was going to help and do these conversions before i was deployed. I'm really good at database mgmt and design, but rather do Networking. Well after my last deployment (not this one Sept of 2002) i was pushed in to the networking part of the Dept. AWESOME!!!

K, back to WHOLY FUCK! i love that response to Detarded people or questions. let me define DeTard: one who is dummer than a retard. Tracking! No, k one more time then. DeTard: one who is dummer than a retard. Good lets move on. Welp while on a call for another issue ( ID10T error ) i was asked about a solution to this particular problem. I was like i have to see if there was a request in the Help Desk or job order for the consultants. That was my excuse not to have anything to deal with database crap. I tended to the immediate problem, then headed back to my desk. I wanted to just finnish listening to a new CD i downloaded last nite DJ_Ideal_Lil_Flip-Da_Bottom_Vol._6, ( relax i have full intientions to buy it at a very later date.. :) ) and browse the net. I need ideas for new grafix for this site/blog. Looking ot revamp this puppy over the weekend. Curiosity got to me so i looked in the Logs of calls/jobs and seen that the request was still open. WOW!!!

        Tangent:
( i forgot WOW was a saying derived back in the days of
        Iraq
) has two meanings, can be nice ways of saying WHOLY
        FUCK
and you FUCKEN DETARD in the work enviornment
or that i'm astonished or elated at a particular thing. like them $.50
        cent words
        ? hehe..

Flash Back Friday: In Iraq.. Detard.. Fuck Stick and Wholy Fuck werent hidden in the work enviornment, they were used openly.

It was still open. I asked my boss can i clear some of these tickets off Help Desk database? sure knock yourself out. OUTSTANDING! snuk a peek at the database, ( he said snuck!, Wild Turkey heh! ) then asked them over paid Detarded consultants about the crosstab query that needed to be re-done.

Oh its going to take lines of code in VB and a new form/report to be designed to get exactly what they want,
the Detard states. WOW came out, but wanted to say Wholy Fuck!!! Launch the database and lets take a look. Were looking at the cross tab query in design view. K, seems like what he said is so, but lets sneak a peek at it in SQL. I love but hate it at the same time (SQL). ahhh, thats it just change this line:

        PIVOT Format([Date],"mmm") In ("Jan","Feb","Mar","Apr","May","Jun","Jul","Aug","Sep","Oct","Nov","Dec");

        to

        <code>Expr1: "w" & Format(DatePart("ww",[Date]),"00")

So instead of it reading, Jan.. FEB.. MAR... in the column heading it will read w01.. w02.. w03 instead. ahh, that worked states the DeTard. No shit, i said to myself. Not saying i'm a genious or anything, but i HATE databases and SQL so much that i can do it in my sleep. The moral to this Blog and my Ramp is Now that i'm back give me a raise, and get rid of these good for nothing consultants. I'm good at eating up time and money, dont need others sharing the wealth.

I leave you with a quick problem to solve:

        1
        11
        21
        1211
        111221

whats the next line in the sequence?

        eM - OUT!
