'Noles offense struggles in upset loss to Wolfpack

North Carolina State seems right at home in Seminole country. N.C. State's Chuck Amato, who spent 18 seasons as an assistant to Florida State coach Bobby Bowden, is the only Atlantic Coast Conference coach to beat the Seminoles on their home field.

The Seminoles (7-2, 5-2 ACC) looked anything like a title contender Saturday against the Wolfpack (4-4, 2-4), who have struggled all season.

Noles clinch the ACCs div title with the lost of BC to North Carolina, but they intern lose to NC State. That Blows.. With Miami knocking off VT yesterday we may be facing Miami again Dec 3rd for the ACC title. If Miami wins out and then beats the Noles its a posibility for them to jump up in the BCS towards the end of the season.

Noles got to step it up. Miami is going to bring it!!! this next game.

Weekend trip to Chuck E Cheese's
One of my Son's classmates was having a birthday at Chuck E Cheese's this past Saturday. He took one at first and then wanted to take one with me. I was making a good run at the hoop challenge getting 45+ points a round. The tickets were mounting up; as well as the line of kids waitng for me to finish off my 3 dollars in quarters to get thier turn. :D hehe.. All in all I had a great time. I love going to kiddie places cause there is a kid deep down inside me and comes gushing out when i attend events like this. So if your having a party and need an oversized kid to look aftert the other kiddies... Holla.. I'm there.

IN Fantasy Football News, i went 2-1 over the weekend. bring my record to .500 in 2 leagues and under in one. :( Step it up SAW!!! My Giants are the Beasts in the East... OUTSTANDING. Hopefully Washington can knock off the Iggles this weekend so we can stay on top. KOW i spoke to Plaxico and told him HEY, My hommie needs the Fantasy points man... get your grind on and score some TD's. Manning is my QB in one of my leagues and i told him to throw the rock to Plaxico ALL the time! hope that helps.

Last nite i was asked what i wanted for christmas. I replied nothing as to what i really want wont be available to me. ( i didnt put any on reserve ) and the games i really like wont be out till next spring. There is a new Line of McFarlane's coming out in November NFL 12 series, but i have 2 cases on pre-order to make some loot to get my Wolverine VS. Sabertooth 16-inch Diorama. Ahh, thats an idea... i can give her a link to EE. There is also the Cooperstown 3 series coming out that will have R. Clemente, Don Mattingly and Mickey Mantle. Those are for March of 06 tho. So i just said nothing. Nothing atm and my wife was mad. what do you mean, you have to get something. I was so spoiled with stuff when i got back from Iraq that honestly i'm good as far as gifts go. Who knows i'll think of something. But on another note... I need some help from some Pirates fans.. i got an offer from Wild Turkey to get some R. Clemente stuff cause they are headed to the Burg. I would love one of those old school Pirates hats to go with my throwback of Clemente that i have. That would def be insane. Wild Turkey imagine it were Jason Kendall(who may be coming out in MLB 15 or 16 and if you want another collectible of him let me know, it'll be in the A's uniform tho) and you wanted a to get soething of him. Wait stirke that, i remember how you spoke of him in Iraq and lord knows what you'd get and send me.

All be good and be safe.... KOW 1 more weekend till PC. Awesome.. Scary would rock if you could make it up. Look forward o seeing alot of XBLF's there.

Here is another pic of my Lil Man...

Cheo... thank god his momma looks good and he didnt take after me.

BOOOOO! Happy Halloween!

WOW, another fine weekend come and gone. GO GIANTS. Poor Iggles, its okay.. McNabb and TO got me the points i needed for my various Fantasy Leagues. Hopefully i do better this week then i have been. Currently record is 3-4.. Havent checked to see what i did this weekend yet. I do have a few other players tonite. LT didnt do crap for me again this week. :( Thats how my fantasy seasons allways turn ou tto be. I have strong players in the beginning of the season then they fall off(L. Tomlinson). Or i have an outstanding player that doesnt perform (P. Manning).
So the Giants stand alone at the top of the NFC East. Its great to see that after the horrible draft we had this past spring. Plaxico whome i had in previous FFL and was one of my bums before that never panned out to be gOOd, is kickin tail making clutch catches for us here in NY. OUTSTANDING!!!

I havent posted any pics of my deployment recently. I have so many i want to share. Been so tied up with my collecting and the recent new games (Xbox) tht came out. I'm going to do some interviews with some of my troops. DA-z a kick ass runner ran a marathon recently. That rocks. I told him i'd come out and run it with him next year. Whew, my feet are going to suffer. While i Iraq the base we were at had a loop of 12 miles. DA-Z used to run it weekly. He actually wona company challenge and gto a trip Qatar for the fastest time in his age group. lmao.. he was the only on in it. :D, hehe j/k! Thier were equite a few over 40.

Well i got to run and do some work before i leave early today for Lil SAWs Halloween Parade at school. Squirrel be safe. Wild Turkey(s) be good and look forward to our next re-union. Have a safe and Happy Halloween.

eM - OUT!

Todd to attend NFL experience in Detroit

Barry Sanders Figures Debuts at Topps Card Show in Detroit as Super Bowl XL Exclusive

McFarlane Toys and Todd McFarlane himself will attend the Topps Card Show 2006 at the NFL Experience in Detroit, Mich. McFarlane Toys will be present throughout the event, which kicks off Wednesday, Feb. 1 and runs until Sunday, Feb. 5th. Todd's schedule has not yet been finalized. The event will be held at COBO Hall in Detroit. Hours for the show have not been set as of press release date.

The award-winning action figure company will be selling the exclusive McFarlane's Sports Picks figure, which has become a major draw for fans at events around the country. Since debuting at the 2003 Topps Super Bowl Show in San Diego, McFarlane's exclusives have been tremendously popular at every sporting event attended. This year's McFarlane's Sports Picks event exclusive is:

BARRY SANDERS, Detroit Lions, RB No. 20 in white jersey with silver pants.

Production is limited to 3,000 pieces. Additionally, due to the highly collectible nature of the product, McFarlane Toys will set a per-person limit, which has yet to be decided. Product availability is not guaranteed. The exclusives will be sold for $15 each. Cash and Visa are the only payment options at the show.

2005 marked the first year McFarlane Toys dove into the retired pool of players in the NFL, selecting Barry Sanders as the first Legends figure to be offered as an event exclusive.
"Barry is one of the greatest players to ever lace up a pair of football cleats," says McFarlane Toys CEO and founder Todd McFarlane. "Fans of the Lions and fans of football have an admiration for Barry, a player who carried himself with as much class on the field as he did off the field."

Here are more Pics of the sculp for this release:
>> SUPER BOWL XL: BARRY SANDERS I

I just order'd his Thanksgiving throwback variant from Toys R Us, (thats what they had listed, its probably the regular release - if it is; It's getting sent back). His reg version is around everywhere. If i can get a hold of this exclusive to add to my collection would be INSANE!! I know i'm not attending the superbowl, so i can expect to see these puppies on eBay for $35-50 soon after the event. There are quite a few other pieces i'd love to have before shooting for this. Altho i do have a few that i could probs trade to get this exclusive.
New Schedule for Upcoming Releases, First Half of 2006

The first half of 2006 will see the release of a massive variety of new McFarlane product. Fans of each of our lines will have an abundance of choices. Here's a six-month calendar of what's on tap. (Release dates are subject to change without notice.)

Check here for full release, i'll just touch the Sports Picks and Military series. The ones marked with * are keepers for me that will be added to my collection. I may turn this hobby into a business in my near future. Jay(JFrag) if you reading sometime in my near future i'll be hitting you up for a consult for a web site. Hitcatcher.com Its a fun hobby and amazing what a Collectible item like Tom Brady's no Helmet varaint that came out goes for $300+ on eBay. WOW. Glad i'm not a Patriots fan.

I finally uploaded the pictures. Added them to my flikr account, but couldnt get that hmtl tag thingie to post them here so this is the Link to the page. Washington won W 52 - 17. WOW, was a long ride home for my brother who is a Niners fan. I remember long flights home from Florida when C. Portis and Miami used to spank the Noles, year after year. Was great to see him and his family again and hang out at a Live NFL game. I'm supposed to go to the Giants game, but Clinton seems to go off in games i attend, hehe. I can get a chance to see some Giants and get my McFarlane's signed. That would roCk! f0-sh0!

Hopefully i can get more decent pics and post them here next week.

In gaming News, BattleField2 came out today. Was so busy traveling in NJ didnt get a chance to get it. Will be getting it tomorrow when i get off work.

I havent fired up Photoshop up since i got back to work. I remember before you left you were looking into webmaster programs and designing web grafix. ah yeah, i kinda still tinker here and there.

Welp not since i've been back that i made anything, but have been wanting to redo this blog site and get back in the groove of designing. I remember showing Wild Turkey some stuff i did while in Iraq and i posted some stuff here in my blog of things i did.

When we order'd all that new equipment for the server racks and different sites, we got some software bundles. This one i think you may want and can have if you so choose to keep. Charles Woodson #2 Michigan University

The Maze and Blue. GO BLUE!

Charles Woodson, Michigan Defensive Back, Kick Returner, Wide Receiver 1995-1997, Heisman Trophy Winner 1997.

1997: Even with everyone knowing all about him and hardly ever throwing his way, Woodson still picked off eight passes including a brilliant one handed grab against Michigan State which made every highlight reel. Want clutch? Along with the game-saving pick against Ohio State, he killed a drive in the Rose Bowl intercepting Ryan Leaf in the end zone. While QB Brian Griese had a magnificent season and the defense was great as a whole, without Woodson the Wolverines wouldn't have won the national title

This is a custom figure i orderd for my brother from drjwtexas for Christmas. This is based off his interception against Michigan St. It's not the McFarlane's he used to collecting, but i'm sure he move pieces off his collectors shelf for this piece. After the holiday season i'll be getting a Deion Sanders Florida State custom.
        Sunday, Digital Life in NYC.

Busted! as i looked down i was doing a lil under a 100mph. Holy Fuck! i aint talking my way outta this one. I just pull right over, why make him chase me further pissing him off. I await the trooper with documents in hand.

        Cop: CAn i..
        Me: here they are.
        Cop: Where you off to?
Me: on cue i answer, i work for the state of NJ and we had servers go down. I got called into work. I knew i was travling way to fast..
        Cop: 92
        Me: gulp, yeah too fast.
Cop: what department you work for?
        Me: Dept of Human Services.
        Cop: whats your record like?
Me: OUTSTANDING, No points what so ever!
Cop: i'll be right back... taking my documents with him.
Me: Flux, i'm going to have points now. dag blamit! i should've know better, there is allways a friggin state trooper there. The the lil brown lie, hehe, i'm getting a ticket.

Me: WOW, no ticket. Wholy fuck! i wanna shit myself, eewww! j/k! that rocKs...

i got off again. Pays to work for the state and if speeding get pulled over by a state trooper. Whew! i travled 50mph the rest of the way, like a punk.... :)

After a train ride i make it to the convention center... it was great to see ram again and to meet more XBLF's PEZ and Capt Crash and PEZ's nintendog ( didnt poop or pee not one time while inside and was well behaved around others).
that pic you took cAPT- OUTSTANDING!!!! hehe... good times. see it here.

HP area had some kickazs big screens. Had me hooked there for a lil bit. i have 2 (not HPs) but the giants were playing the cowgirls. Gadgets - Friends and football SAWeet! yeah i know Giants lost. :p

X360 demos rocked. wish there was a playable X360 tho. they would have to had atleast a gazillion of them for me to get a shot. There were like 1 gazillion people chillin on the couches watching the demo's.

XM had a booth and i was able to check out docking stations they are coming out with for the xm2go.. nice gift for the wifey.

        Gametap.com was kool.. kool classics.

2kgames had a booth and i was able to get the soundtrack for NBA2k. Mostly hip hop, and if interested i can rip it and pass i t along to whom ever wants it. and got a kool sticker that lil SAW claimed and stuck to his note book.

        CD featured:
        Redman
        The Roots
        Common
        Ghostface
        Little Brother
        lackalicious
        Aceyalone

        Hieroglyphics
        RJD2
        Aesop Rock
        Skills
        Jean Grae & Zion1

There were alot of PC gaming tourneys... SAW cant do PC games, but it was funny... ( ahh hahaha.. funny ) to watch the turds get mad at each other while gaming. One thing i pickd up on was that all the teams were pretty much seperated, but they yelled out commands so the other team could here. Why not have whom ever was in charge just stand behind everyone and be the boss and be able to look at everyones screens and have a better sense of command and control of troops. See PEZ like i talked about military games at digi lyf and taking it too far.. hehe.. Just wish whom ever makes Military shooters would take EAs moto.. If its in the game Its in the game. I look forward to America's Army.

iPOD gadgets were every where. got a kool lanyard from one stand.

All in all was a fun trip and most of all meeting XBLFs was a great plus. you all rock and look forward to the next event we can all get together. Philly Classic is coming up.

        This weekend in Sports:

Blah!!! Last week my Yankees were sent home packing in the MLB playoffs, and yesterday Florida State suffer'd thier first lost. It had to be another ACC team as well, knocking them to #2 in the ACC, crap! not sure how since BC is #1 and we beat them.

Seminoles lost to Virgina University 26-21. Last time they took a loss (after having an undefeated start 5-0) like that was to Virginia back in 1995. Back then someone i root for now and just got his McFarlane Sports Pick Figure ran all over FSU. Tiki Barber. I had that feeling when i watched a few other undefeated's take losses earlier that day as well as the teams all my friends like were getting romped. Welp my Bro's college team did well as they knocked off Penn State, Michigan. ahh that reminds me, i got to call that guy making my custom collectible of Charles Woodson for my brothers Christmas gift. back on topic, the Noles are 5-1 now. :(

Giants Fall to Cowboys in OT, 16-13 After a late fourth-quarter rally that tied the game, the Giants fell to the Cowboys, 16-13, in overtime. TE Jeremy Shockey (24yd rec) and K Jay Feely (50,445yd FGs) scored for the Giants.

Didn't watch too much of the game tho. As i got on the train in NY coming back from Digitalife (i'll blog about in a few)the train dood anounced the Giants lost in Overtime 16-13. Which leads to my Fantasy team not getting to many points as i had Eli in and i think he threw that 1 solo TD. Doesnt look good in points. Now were 3-2 and now 0-1 in our division. :( It wont be till another 2 weeks before we can get a win in our div as we play Denver next week, then Washington. I'll be at that game if all works out well. Giants v Washington 30th Oct in the meadowlands. SAWeet!

Hope everyone's weekend went well and it was a good and safe one. Wild Turkeys i miss you all and holla at me when you get a chance. (oOoo get one of these today??) Squirrel havent heard from you man, call me or write and let me know how you are doing. I know Iraq sucks and you'll be home in a few months.

        Frustrated Collector...

        LAWRENCE TAYLOR

He was released as part of NFL Legends series 1 along with:
        • BARRY SANDERS
        • JOHN ELWAY
        • JOHNNY UNITAS
        • FRANCO HARRIS
        • TROY AIKMAN

I ordered it back in August from Toys R Us, knowing it wouldn't be released till now in October. In my weekly hunts checking for other collectibles at Toys R Us and Kay Bee Toys I noticed that the NFL Legends series has been released. I was like kool, noiw I can get my LT. So I go tback online to check the status of my order and I see that i have the LT with the White jersy(a variant) which triples the price upon me getting it. w0000-hoooo, but I also see in red No longer available!... Hold up! wtf! i didnt even get mine yet and its not even shipped either. Every where i have check'd there after i have not seen the LT collectible in this series. All the ones i can careless to have i find in the 3 surrounding Toys R Us's in my area.

I went online last nite to check a few other sites i know carry the collectibles and notice that they want $50 dollars for the regular blue jersey one or they are SOLD OUT!! My plea to my readers if you happen to come across this, if you have started ( Christmas shopping ) like i have; come across a LT in the your area Toys R Us or KayBee Toys and pick it up for me i'll trade (if a XBLF or XNC or GTDB member or Xbox Live in gerneral) a Xbox 360 game of choice for it. Anybody else i'll figure something out after confirmation you found it. Now i can get it on eBay at a stupid high price, I'll resort to the Toy stores first. Then after Christmass if i'm really desperate for it, i 'll go the eBay route.

I'm going to NYC this weekend, maybe i can get PEZinvaders to take me to a Toys R Us in the city. Stay tuned, later today i'm doing another flash back friday picture from Iraq. Thanks in Advance for anyone who'll happen to help a Gunner out!
        Mariano Rivera

Mariano Rivera wins 2005 "DHL Presents the Major League Baseball Delivery Man of the Year Award"

        from MLB.com
Award recognizes the most outstanding relief pitcher of the season Mariano Rivera of the New York Yankees has been named the inaugural recipient of the "DHL Presents the Major League Baseball Delivery Man of the Year Award" as the result of fan balloting on MLB.com, it was announced today. Throughout the voting process, Major League Baseball fans cast nearly 125,000 votes for the award on the official Web site of Major League Baseball.

This season, Rivera, who received 39,964 votes, accounting for 33 percent of the overall vote, helped the Yankees win their eighth consecutive AL East division title by saving 43 games in 47 opportunities. He finished with a 1.38 ERA, striking out 80 batters over 78.1 innings pitched while only allowing 50 hits. After he blew his second save of the season in early April, the right-hander went on to convert 31 consecutive save opportunities from April 9 through August 11. His 43 saves tied him for fourth overall in the Majors for the season.

Rivera's 379 saves are the most ever in the American League and puts him fifth on the all-time list. A member of four World Series champion teams with the Yankees, the 1999 World Series MVP has recorded 33 saves in October which is the highest in postseason history. The seven-time All-Star has led the AL in saves in three different seasons including 1999, 2001 and 2004.
In recognition of this honor, DHL will donate $5,000 to a local chapter of Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the official charity of Major League Baseball, in Mariano Rivera's name. In addition, Rivera will be recognized in a special advertisement appearing tomorrow, October 14, in USA Today.

To create the ballot, an initial list of 15 relievers that had outstanding seasons was compiled by the editorial board of MLB.com. The 10 finalists were chosen from this list of nominees by a special Major League Baseball "yellow-ribbon" panel that consists of Hall of Fame pitcher Dennis Eckersley; Darryl Hamilton, former Major League outfielder and MLB Radio Host; Jerome Holtzman, the official MLB Historian and a member of the writer's wing of the Hall of Fame; Rick Sutcliffe, 1984 NL Cy Young Award winner, ESPN and MLB International broadcaster; and Bob Watson, Vice President, On-Field Operations, Major League Baseball.

Throughout the 2005 season, this "yellow-ribbon" panel selected the relief pitcher who gave each month's most dominant performance for his respective Major League Baseball Club. The 2005 winners of the "DHL Presents the Major League Baseball Delivery Man of the Month Award" include Jose Mesa (April), Trevor Hoffman (May), Chad Cordero (June), Brad Lidge (July), Todd Jones (August) and Ryan Dempster (September).

To further engage fans in the selection process, DHL introduced an online sweepstakes in conjunction with the "DHL Presents the Major League Baseball Delivery Man of the Year Award." As part of the program, DHL will award one lucky fan with a trip for two to game four of the 2005 World Series.
