Sabado en Grande...

Today sucked as it rained all day long. I did some in house maintenance that was much needed. WOW, just watched a trailer for Jarhead starring Jamie Fox. It had Kanye West's "Jesus Walks" sog playing in the backround. Man it got me all teary eyed and gave me a warm and fuzzy. I miss what i did as a soldier. As much as i love being home with my family and out of harms way i feel empty not being in the thick of it with my troops. I get like that cause for them i'll lay it on the line, take that ound if i had to for any of them. I recently got out and i know in thier near future some will be assphault pounding in Iraq again and i'll be here, not sleeping a wink till they get back. IT sux Ass.

That threw me off topic fo-real. K, back on track.. FSU rocked the house today beating Wake Forest. Ah yeah, back to the heavy rain. Welp my basement floods a bit and i had to take the shop vack to lake Melencio in my basement. I was down there all day cleaning up my military crap i just threw all over the place when i got back and organizing my Mc Farlane collection. Whew i have alot of them.

Recent additions are Mike Musina (yankees version) , Randy Johnson (yankees version), Ivan Rodriguez (rangers version), and a bonus i cant reveal at the moment. Just hung and organized my Military series 1 and McFARLANE’S SPORTS PICKS: MLB BASEBALL SERIES 1. When i get my digi cam back i'll et a full picture of my collection.

I added a few sites to my Ammo Links list:
vitaminB's Xbox live video site with captures of games on Live.
Gamertag.com where i'm an All Star at, and you can leave feedback and find other gamers.
My Amazon wish list where i do alot of shopping, plus if you want to surprise me with a gift you can look and see what i like. :) christmas is coming got to plug that site, hehe. Also you can add me to your friends list there if you have an account.
My 1Up.com page where i'm going to now review and blog about Xbox Games and Live experiences.

Hope everyones weekend went well, mine was rained out like the Yankees game today. Going to watch Full Metal Alchemist Movie and then get on Live later in the evening if your on shoot me an invite. HeadGamer has a few new maps to DL for Far Cry Instincs. His map Ft. HizzleGizzle was revamped. I look forward ot getting the newer version.

Flash Back Friday

All is good, its friday and i'm OFF from work. Have 4 day weekend. Thank you Cheo! my lil man is off from school and no baby sitter left me home watching him. OUTSTANDING!!! Not complaining not one bit. This week in TV shows was decent. Watched "Surface" and "Commander and Chief". "Surface" again left me awaiting next weeks episode and waiting to get a full view of the crazy monster. Still frustrating as they are draggin along this mysterious monster from the deep. "Commander and Cheif " was wifey time and i really wasnt paying attention to it. I know she's trying to find a Vice President, and she speakes like a good stiff one gave her lock jaw. She rocked as Charlie Baltimore tho. Ohh i did watch "Over There", for a hot second. Can go thru complaining about the crap they do that really cant happen so i cant stomach it to past the first few scene's. Wild Turkey I missed "Alias", so u cant spoil it for me. No TiVo so i'm going to have to down load that episode soemehow... aarrgghh! I had a fanancial advisor over and he was longer than anticipated.

Flash back friday brings me to post this picture taken by Short Round on the outskirts of An Najaf. It was our first run on this mission last november the day before Thanksgiving. We just got back off R&R, didnt get a chance to unpack or get back into the routine of being back in country, when we got a knock on our doors to head back out. I knew we had a mission on Thanksgiving, they just moved it up 24hours. We had 2 hours to get together this convoy which usually takes about 10hrs of preperation. We were out the gate in 2 hours from the time we got the call. OUTSTANDING!!!! Wild Turkey Infatranz once again sets the standard. It was great to get out of Al Taquddum to some fine Thanksgiving dinner down a Cedar II. Only drawback to this whole mission i got sick. Wonder who the culprit was....

The weekend i s here and once again FOOTBALL!!!

Fantasy Leagues:
XBLF - EA Sports (Wild Turkey Infatranz) 3-1
SJFL - ESPN (SAWDAWGz) 2-2
Gameday Ritual (Wild Turkey Infatranz) 3-1

College:
Florida St. 4-0 @ Wake Forest 12 noon

Pro:
Giants 3-1 * bye *

Splinter Cell 4

At Microsoft's X05 event in Amsterdam today, Ubisoft showed off the debut trailer for Splinter Cell 4, the next entry in the company's renowned stealth franchise. Though brief with only a limited look at what the adventure has in store, the trailer was a welcome return to the series that showed some nice special effects interspersed with what looked like actual gameplay.
In the trailer, what appears to be a classic "spies versus mercenaries" multiplayer battle starts off with a spy tip-toeing on a beam high up in a warehouse. His mask comes off -- revealing his face, something that's never been shown for the multiplayer characters in past games -- and then the trailer kicks into gear as a drop of sweat falls down the side of his face and then onto the ground below. It's all shown in insane detail, but up-close shots of the characters make it seem realistic enough to be running on in-game assets.

Once the sweat drop falls to the ground, the camera shifts to what appears to be a mercenary patrolling the ground level. He is wearing a shiny visor, revealing a new look for the character that seems to be futuristic. He walks around for a short while before a spy creeps up from him and attacks from behind.

We are noting many caveats in our sentences, however, because while the trailer confirms that the game will feature both on and offline play, it does not say that the scene it shows is from the traditional spies versus mercenaries multiplayer scenario. It looks like it and sounds like it, but the trailer ends with the tagline, "You have no idea what's coming," so we will have to refrain from speculating too much.

The game will ship in spring 2006 for both consoles and PC. Check back soon to see the trailer in action.

Yesterday was Whisky 40's birthday... he's 4zer0 AWESOME.. hope you had a good one.

EA 360 Screens Bonanza

Yeah, they knew what team to shoot, GIANTS!!

With only two precious, delicious days separating us from Microsoft's highly anticipated X05 event, Electronic Arts has already jumped the gun and unleashed a bevy of screen shots from their Xbox 360 lineup and confirmed which games will be competing for your dollars come November 22.

Oh, glorious next-generation, how I love thee.

Get your mouse clickin' on with the links below to check out the screen shots, and wait for our hands-on impressions of all of these games as soon as X05 kicks off in a few days.

Madden NFL 06
NBA Live 06
Battlefield: Modern Combat
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 06

Though games like Madden NFL 2006 and NBA Live 2006 are shaping up considerably better than previous showings of the games have indicated, we can't help but feel Battlefield: Modern Combat looks considerably "this generation" from the initial batch of screen shots.

Considering no release date has been set in stone just yet, though, there's plenty of hope we'll see a visual turnaround before its expected holiday release.

Dem Giants.. 3-1 so far

Final: Giants 44, Rams 24QB Eli Manning threw 4 touchdown passes as the Giants beat the Rams, 44-24, in the fourth quarter. Jeremy Shockey (31yd rec), Plaxico Burress (31,17yd rec), Amani Toomer (1yd rec), Tiki Barber (16yd run) and Jay Feely (38,32,23yd FGs) all scored for the Giants, who improved their record to 3-1.

OUTSTANDING!!!!!

I picked Eli up last minute in my ESPN.COM league cause Roethlisberger had a *bye* and Warner was put on IR. I took a gamble and stuck with my Giants. WhoA, Eli came thru today in a big way. We had a shitty draft and as i sat in Iraq thinking how bad my team was going to stink up the NFC east here we are kickin ace! Plaxico of all people came thru huge. I had him on my FF teams for 2 years and he blew goats costing losses from his inadequate play. When we picked him up from Pitts, i was like, man that blows. All i can say is.. Thanks to Pittsburgh! you rOcK!!! So far anm rocking in my Fantasy Football leauges will post tuesday final scores if interested.

Yankees, won the Division even tho we got whooped bad today.

Florida State Rolls Over Syracuse 38-14
Drew Weatherford passed for 234 yards and three touchdowns, including a 71-yard swing pass to Lorenzo Booker, and No. 6 Florida State defeated Syracuse 38-14 Saturday. Weatherford, a redshirt freshman making his fourth collegiate start, also scored a touchdown as the Seminoles rolled up a 24-0 lead. Florida State (4-0), which had nine sacks in its opener against Miami, got Syracuse quarterback Perry Patterson seven times. With the temperature approaching 90 on a humid afternoon, Syracuse (1-3) was virtually helpless on offense through most of the game, managing only 57 yards and two first downs by halftime. more

Thats your weekend in sports. eM~ OUT!
